We would like to introduce you to the fun and furry side of Harambee Farm, our pride and joy THE DOGS. We have decided to breed this amazing crossbreed because of the strenghts that come from both the Poodle and the Bichon. When you have a Bichon-Poo you have a dog that will end up being 12-15 pounds. I like this size because you can still pick them up , bath them easily and snuggle them on your lap, but they are big enough to endure life with kids and other animals. These dogs are no wimps, they have  wonderful self confidence without being the least bit mean or nasty.This is very important to us. They have the intelligence of both breeds which make them easy to house train or train for tricks and agility. They really enjoy learning and there humourous personalities make them very fun every day. The two breeds have a similar look which is nice because the end result is not a surprize, as you will see in the pictures.The fact that they do not shed is a hugely appealing factor. You must realize that they do need to be clipped. This can be fun, experiment with different styles till you find the one right for your dog. Since they are crossbreeds you can go to either breeds looks or find one that is unique.

and introducing Belle, our miniature poodle, she is the mother of the pups below.

She has since retired from having puppies, our dogs have a maximum of 3 litters and then retire.

Meet Tucker, one of the first pups from thr first litter of 5 pups,he lives in Brockville and his new family is very pleased and update us regularly. (Thanks Susan)

This is Duchess, she lives in LaSalle Qc.and is doing very well, we were sent a photo album of her. Notice the different grooming that people have done to suit different tastes.

Thi is Maya, notice her color in this pic. Next pics are a few months later.

These are also of Maya, as you can see the colors can change so we cannot guarantee that if you pick a dark pup, that they will stay that way.She lives in Sherbrooke Qc. and is learning french quite well.
